Environmental Policy
Taking a responsible attitude towards the environment is an important factor in our day-to-day procedures and we strive to minimise the impact of our operation on the environment. We encourage energy efficiency and promote waste minimisation and environmentally-friendly waste disposal.
Royle’s main manufacturing plant in Croydon is accredited to ISO14001, the international standard for environmental management. It has been certified Carbon Neutral by the Carbon Neutral Company as a result of an initiative to invest in a Chinese hydro electric project. Furthermore, it is both FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified, after demonstrating over a length of time that only papers from sustainable sources are used in manufacturing.
